The Berlin government has allocated a €1 million investment specifically for clubs in the city.

The local council has made €1 million accessible to address conflicts between clubs and residential areas effectively. Berlin's new noise protection program, proposed last year, has now come into operation, providing vital support to keep clubs operational.

For venues with a minimum of two years of operation, the application process involves two stages, with basic documents available online. Starting from February next year, an independent panel of experts will convene thrice to select recipients.

Clubs may receive €50,000 from the government, and those deemed to have "projects of extraordinary importance" can be eligible for up to €100,000. Clubs are required to contribute a small percentage, ranging from ten to 20 percent of the total amount, based on a sliding scale. If a club fails to remain open for another two years, they are obligated to return the funds.
