Deadmau5 has been temporarily suspended from Twitch following a controversial incident where he made comments that were deemed as homophobic.

Deadmau5 faced a ban from the popular live-streaming platform Twitch following what was described as a "homophobic" outburst. The Canadian EDM producer, Joel Zimmermann, expressed his frustration on Twitch after his in-game character died in PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, using offensive language against his opponent. Subsequently, Deadmau5 criticized Twitch on Reddit, stating he wouldn't tolerate the platform's perceived double standards in censoring and suspending him for what he considered harmless behavior. He expressed his unwillingness to deal with such situations.
