A counterfeit version of Fabric nightclub has been found in China.

by Techno TV - December 4, 2017

In an unusual turn of events, a nightclub named Fabric, mirroring the logo of the esteemed London institution, has surfaced in downtown Chongqing's Beibin Lu area, China. This discovery was made by Dutch DJ and promoter Bram van Ravenhorst, also known as Blind '92, who manages the Echo Bay club in Chongqing. Despite the name and logo similarities, the resemblance ends there. Fabric in China primarily focuses on EDM and commercial house music, accompanied by the prevalent presence of "sexy girls dancing" in the venue, as reported by Mixmag Asia.

However, critics like TimeOut Shanghai have expressed disappointment, stating that if a club intends to adopt the name of one of the world's most successful clubbing destinations, Fabric, it should deliver a remarkable experience. Instead, they perceive this Chinese rendition as just another typical club lacking the essence that defines the original Fabric.
