Broadwick Live is set to make a significant impact on London's music scene with the highly anticipated launch of DRUMSHEDS, their latest venture situated in the heart of Tottenham, scheduled to open its doors this September. This thrilling development introduces a colossal 15,000-capacity arena, housed within the expansive 608,000-square-foot space of a former IKEA store, transforming it into North London's newest cultural epicenter.
While the venue's complete offerings are yet to be unveiled, DRUMSHEDS promises an electrifying lineup of events, including dance music extravaganzas, high-profile fashion showcases, elaborate set constructions, and a host of other exciting experiences. The venue is poised to become a vibrant hub for entertainment, capturing the essence of the city's dynamic cultural landscape.
DRUMSHEDS marks a significant addition to Broadwick Live's already impressive portfolio of large-scale venues, standing alongside illustrious counterparts such as The Beams, Printworks, and Manchester's Depot Mayfield. The venue's namesake, The Drumsheds, located in close proximity, bid farewell in January of the previous year, making way for this groundbreaking new project.
Simeon Aldred, the director of strategy at Broadwick Live, expressed the company's vision, stating, "Broadwick strives to curate experiences that leave an indelible mark through live performances, a vision we want to carry forward with DRUMSHEDS. We envision our venues to become dynamic cultural epicenters that foster human connections. These connections have become increasingly crucial in today's world."
While specific details about DRUMSHEDS are yet to be revealed, the venue's sneak peek offers a glimpse into its awe-inspiring potential, hinting at an immersive and transformative space that will undoubtedly redefine London's entertainment landscape.
